EZ-Link expands EZ-Pay to car parks

Singapore's largest issuer of CEPAS (Contactless e-Purse Application) compliant cars EZ-Link, has expanded the acceptance of EZ-Pay to car parks. This has made it the first completely free post-paid card-less payment service for EPS (Electronic Parking System) in addition to ERP (Electronic Road Pricing) in Singapore.

The first three malls to accept EZ-Pay at their car parks are Jurong Point Shopping Centre, Great World City and Tanglin Mall. Since 1st February 2018, motorists that park at these malls do not need to top up or insert a stored value card into their IU (in-Vehicle Unit).

EZ-Pay customers can check records of both ERP and EPS transactions by logging into their EZ-Pay accounts or through their monthly credit card statements. The EZ-Link card was the first stored value card introduced for public transit use on the MRT, LRT and busses in April 2002.
